Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings has created an official document outlining the current COVID-19-related restrictions being imposed on ceremonies, receptions, dessert parties and in-park bridal portrait sessions at Walt Disney World.
Disney will upload future versions of the document to the same location, so you’ll always be getting the latest info when you click that link.
You may also read a summary of Disney’s current COVID-19 Restrictions for Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings on this page, but only your Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings sales consultant or event planner will be able to give you the most up-to-date details on COVID-19 restrictions for your date.
Hello, Carrie! I’m newly engaged and have downloaded your guide and started listening to your podcast (obsessed!). In one of your podcasts, you mention calling the WDW line directly as the best way to have your information recorded/received. I called today and got a recording – they are not currently answering that number due to, well, current pandemic circumstances. I filled out the form instead and received an emailed auto-response that they’ll contact me as soon as possible.
My question: Have you heard how long it’s been taking to hear back from the Sales Team lately? I understand that furloughs and layoffs have greatly, and so unfortunately, affected Cast Member staffing. (We all miss them so much!)
Thank you in advance for your thoughts!
Hi! Right now there are only four people working at DFTW, so it is indeed taking longer to hear back. Some couples have had good luck with this email address: WDW.DFTW.Planner@disney.com. You can also try messaging them on social media—a few people have gotten faster responses that way.
The link to the document can’t be reached.
Hi Laura! Disney stopped updating their guidelines a few months ago, but if you click the link to my main COVID-19 Policies page above, I’m updating the list of policies as often as they release new info!
