Picture Point at the Wedding Pavilion

    1. Because they have to reserve the Wedding Pavilion for you too, it costs the same. And it only accommodates 24 people.

        1. You know, it seems like Disney fluctuates a lot between what their docmentation says and what the cast members tell you—and often the documented capacities change from year to year! If you want to use this spot but have a few more than 24 people, definitely ask your sales consultant about it. You could even show them that photo!

  1. I have been dreaming of a Picture Point ceremony for quite some time, so I’m happy to see this as an option. If my presumed ceremony is taken place at Picture Point, could I have cake and champagne with first dance at the Grand Terrace? If so, how far would that walk be for myself and guests?

    1. If your planner can get approval from the Grand Floridian, yes, that would be a good place to do your cake and Champagne reception. The walk is about 5 or 7 minutes.

  2. Hello!! I am getting married at the Marina. Would I be able to sneak to picture pointe for a few photos after my ceremony? Thank you for taking the time to answer my question!

  3. Hi, I am getting married in 2025. We are really set on picture point for our ceremony. I was wondering will I have to pay extra if I wanted a hair stylist on the day? Or do Disney provide that

    1. Hi! Disney doesn’t provide hair and makeup services; they have a list of preferred vendors, and there are tons of other artists in the area. For the ceremony, *everything* is priced a la carte, except the ceremony musician, microphones, chairs and a water station. If you check out Chapter 1 of the Fairytale Weddings Guide, it explains how pricing works, and the first page of Chapter 2 lists what is included in the Ceremony Venue Fee!

  4. I was wondering if there was a phone number in order to make some questions about simply taking photos/photoshoot at the arc on a specific date. Thank you for taking the time to read this comment in advance!

    Have a nice day!

    1. Hi! So the Wedding Pavilion is usually locked when it is not in use (even the gates, I believe) and when it is in use, of course, you would not be able to shoot there. You could go on one of the Open House days, but there may be lots of other people there. You can try calling DFTW directly, but I guarantee they will just say that no photography or portrait sessions are allowed there at any time except when the couple has it booked for a wedding. That said, some folks have had luck turning up on random days when the WP was not in use and found it unlocked. But they lock it a lot more often these days since some YouTuber filmed there without permission a couple years ago.
