Is there a handicapped ramp for this venue for guests?
Wheelchair access would be through the adjacent Rue de Paris venue, where a separate event may be taking place.
Hi Carrie! We are having our reception at Terrace de fleurs and are watching fireworks with desserts after dinner. Will guests at Eau de France obstruct the view (be in the frame) for firework photos?
Nope, because Eau de France is 7 or 8 feet below Terrace des Fleurs! You can see their relation to each other in the third photo here: https://fairytaleweddingsguide.com/wdw-venues/eau-de-france/
Hi! I know guests have to meet at a certain time to be transported – what if guests are running late, what options do they have?
They can try going to the gate and asking a cast member to radio the events team to get an event guide to escort them back. But since you only have one included in the price of your venue and they can’t leave your event, this would depend on the availability of an extra person. That’s why most of us drill transportation times into our guests with the warning that if they miss it, they will miss the event!
That said, if they had admission to the park that day, the guest could enter the park and find their own way to the party!
Hi Carrie, your guide has been a huge help but I do have a few questions. For a reception held at this or other outdoor Epcot venues are the chairs and linen in the first few photos above standard or upgraded?
Yep, the chairs and linens shown in the first set of photos on this page are the standard ones described in Chapter 3 of the Fairytale Weddings Guide!
Hi Carrie, your guide is extremely helpful! I have a quick question on a terrace reception. Can we have a Disney violinist come in for a couple of dances?
Hi Grace! In the past, the answer was yes, any type of non-amplified musician was OK. Lately, people have been getting mixed answers ranging from “Don’t bother, you won’t be able to hear them over the park music” (not true, in my experience) to “No musicians are allowed outdoors during park hours.” So I’m afraid you’ll have to tell your planner this is what you want and see what they say…
