Tomorrowland Terrace – Magic Kingdom

1. Can you just hold a nighttime reception here without booking a ceremony inside the park and holding a ceremony somewhere else at Disney?

   1. Disney does offer evening receptions inside MK with the option to have your ceremony elsewhere, but they have to start after the park closes and have a number of restrictions on date and time (plus a minimum $10,000 spend on food and beverage). 2. If you were to book a meal in magic kingdom for after your wedding or a dessert party, would they let you wear your wedding dress?

   1. It’s up to the discretion of the cast members at the gate. If they think your gown poses a trip hazard or will cause you to be confused with a Disney entertainer, they will turn you away.

3. Hi Carrie, enjoying the book as I plan my vow renewal, (7 years away! I am a planner at heart) We are planning on having our ceremony at MK Train Station on a Thursday.

   Would we be able to book a “celebration” with appetizers at Tomorrowland Terrace directly after our ceremony?

   1. Yes! As long as you meet the Event Minimum for the Train Station venue. And as long as their policies remain the same for the next 7 years! 😀

4. Is it possible to swap our the tables and chairs at Tomorrowland Terrace in conjunction with an East Plaza Garden ceremony? For the 20K F&B minimum, you’d think they’d allow upgraded decor 😉

   1. So far, they have never allowed it. They might be able to put linens on the tables, but in general they are pretty limited in what they’ll allow at MK venues. Definitely a mismatch with the associated fees and minimums!
