First of all, your guide is informative and fun; I’m so glad I found this. I’m helping “semi-plan” for a relative, and we are arguing on this : JUST for the ceremony ALONE at East Plaza Garden on a Tuesday or Wednesday will cost 55K. Is that accurate?
So glad you’ve found the guide helpful! The price actually went down (you can download the latest version of the guide by logging back into your account—here are instructions). East Plaza Garden on a Tuesday or Wednesday has a $30,000 Event Minimum—that means anything you spend on the ceremony or reception will count. The EPG venue fee is $25,000, and it counts, leaving you $5,000 to spend if you want to stick to the minimum!
In your guide there is no mention of lighting packages for an evening East Plaza Gardens cake and champagne or for the Main St USA ceremony locations. I thought I remembered one podcast saying a lighting package was added last minute to the Hub ceremony and the bride and groom were scrambling to fit it all in their budget. Would there be lighting package fees for the Main St ceremony and for the East Plaza Gardens cake and celebration location?
In the last couple of years, Disney has started rolling the lighting package into the ceremony venue fees for park locations. I’d definitely still check with your sales consultant, but I haven’t heard anyone mention it recently.
